Introductory Remarks

A set of excellent books edited by Nandlal and Hari Shankar Dashora contatin valuable information about the history and origins of Dashora Familiies that have settled in Mewad and other areas of Rajasthan. These following two books are our main source of reference for the Rajasthan Dashoras.

2. "DASHORA (BRAHMIN) Jati  Rajasthan Nirdeshika Second Edition" 1 March 1999 Edited by Nandlal Dashora

Family Trees (Wanshawalian) in the book

The book "DASHORA (BRAHMIN) Jati Mewad Washanawalian avm Wansh Parichay" contains 19 Family Trees. (It talks about 21 families with a note that no male descendents of two of the families survived) The data from the remaining  19 trees can be found in the book. The  following charts are derived from the data from the book.In addition we have also included some female descendents to the extent we we have information. We need more data to include all female decendents. Any help in that regaed will be appreciated
