Dashora Family Names

According to books by Nandlal Dashora  the original Dashora Community consist of people with 12 Gotras namely Koravya, Bhargava, Warahi, Dhannanjay, Mandavya, Gotam, Koshalya, Kondinya,  Kapistal, Garg, and Kashyap.    Each of the Gotra have their own last names and unique praying hierarchy.  Dashoras of Rajasthan usually use "Dashora" as their last name but other Dashoras last names depending upon the sub section of their Gotra. It was pointed by Dayawant Dashora that both names Dashora and Dashore are part of Dashora Community. Also other last names like Satya (some families in Nimad region) and Sugandhi may also be part of Dashora Nagar origin. Of course in the "extended dashora community" as a result of inter-marriages with other communities we have many more last names for people who are included in our database.

The following table shows the combination of "Gotras" and Last Names that the original Dashora Families used.
